Deleting a manually setup mob/herd from the program.
This article explains how to delete a manually setup mob or herd from the program.
MaiaGrazing will only allow you to delete a manually setup mob/herd that has no graze history or mob/herd history recorded against it.
Deleting a mob/herd is a 3 step process:
Step 1: Check for and delete any graze history.
- Click on 'Operations' (1.)
- Click on 'Livestock' (2.)
- Scroll down the mob/herd list until you find the mob/herd to be deleted.
- Click on the name of the mob in the "Mob Name" column. (3.)
- Wait for the mob management screen to open.

Click on 'Grazes' (4.)

Click on 'Graze History Report' (5.)
Any grazes for this mob/herd will be listed.

Click onto the entry date for the graze

Wait for the move screen to open.

Click on 'Delete Mob/herd Move'

Click on 'Proceed' when the warning box opens

Repeat for all grazes for this mob/herd.
Step 2: Check the Mobflow for your mob
- Click on 'Mobflow' from the mob/herd management screen

Click on 'Analytics'

Click on 'Livestock Analytics'

Use the filters at the top to select the appropriate Mob/Herd.

Use the drop down box to select the oldest available date.

View the list of events for this mob/herd.
If there are events recorded for this mob
(See example below)
You will not be able to delete this mob/herd without support help.
The mob/herd cannot be deleted if there are:

Purchases in
-
Sales out
-
Merges in/out
-
Splits in/out
-
Transfers in/out
Please contact support to help you remove these transactions.
If there are no events recorded for this mob/herd
(See example below)
You will be able to delete this mob/herd.
Step 3: Delete the mob/herd

Click on 'Operations'

Click on 'Livestock'

Click on 'Mob/Herd List'

Scroll down the mob/herd list and locate the mob/herd to be deleted.

Click on the 3 dots to the right of the mob name

Click on 'Delete'
