Steps to creating a new stock class in MaiaGrazing
Setting up stock classes is the first of 2 steps required to make new livestock categories in the MaiaGrazing program.

How to create a new stock class

Click on the cog wheel
in the top right hand corner of the screen. To open the Settings Dashboard (Step 1) -
Click on 'Stock Class Set Setup' (Step 2)

Click into the data box and enter the name of your stock class. (a)
Stock classes can be anything that you would like them to be. Most people stick to generic names (eg. heifers, steers, ewes, rams, etc.)

Click on the drop down box to select the species of animal. (b)

Click on 'Add New Stock Class' to add another stock class. (c)

Repeat until you have all of your stock classes setup.

Click on 'Save & Close' when you are finished. (d)
You are now ready to set up your Enterprises.
