When you have multiple properties set up in MaiaGrazing, you can move stock from one property to another, known as a Property Transfer
This article explains how to move stock between different properties that are setup on MaiaGrazing. The term used for this in MaiaGrazing is a Property Transfer.
If you have multiple properties setup in MaiaGrazing you will have the option to do a 'Property Transfer' when you enter a mob/herd move.
This will move the whole mob/herd.
If you only want to move some animals from a mob/herd then you will need to do a mob/herd split first to separate the animals to be moved into their own mob/herd.
Property transfers cannot be done using the Mobile app at this time. They must be recorded through the web browser version.
How to do a Property Transfer
- Click on 'Operations'.
- Click on 'Livestock'.
- Scroll the mob/herd list until you see the name of the mob/herd to be moved.
- Click on the move icon to the right of the name of the mob/herd, after hovering over the three dots

Click on the 'Move date' box.

Enter the date of the transfer (time of transfer is optional) (1).

Click on the dropdown box labelled 'Property Transfer' (2).

Click on the name of the property the stock are to be transferred to.

Click on the dropdown box under 'Paddock/pasture moved TO' (3).

Click on the name of the paddock/pasture or yard/coral that the stock are to be moved to.

Enter any desired paddock observations or mob observations in the other tabs.

Click on 'Confirm Move' to save these details.
