Edit an existing Grazing Plan - Changing the order that paddocks/pastures are grazed.

How to change the order, delete and/add paddocks/pastures in a saved and committed graze plan.

This article explains how to change the order in which paddocks/pastures are grazed in a grazing plan.


Step 1: Navigate to the grazing plan

  • Click on the 'Planning' tab

  • Click on 'Grazing Plans' from the left hand menu

  • Click on the name of the graze plan to edited.


Step 2: Expand the Mobs/Herds & Paddocks/Pastures section.

  • Scroll down the screen until you see 'Mobs/Herds & Paddocks/Pastures' written in blue.

  • Click on the words 'Mobs/Herds & Paddocks/Pastures' to expand that section of the plan.


Step 3: Change the order that the paddocks are to be grazed in

  • Look for the 'Add and Arrange Paddocks/Pastures' box.

  • Click and hold with your left mouse button on the label of the paddock/pasture to be moved.

  • Drag the paddock/pasture name label up or down the list as required by moving your mouse.

  • Drop the paddock/pasture into the list by releasing the left mouse button.

  • Drag and drop any other paddocks as required.

You can also:

Delete paddocks/pastures from the grazing plan here by:

  • hovering your mouse over the paddock/pasture to be deleted

  • clicking on the rubbish bin icon

Add paddocks/pastures that you wish to include in the graze plan by:

  • Clicking on 'add another paddock'

  • Clicking on the name of the paddock to be added from the drop down list.


Step 4: Save the new paddock/pasture order.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the graze plan

  • Click on either 'Save Plan' to save the plan WITHOUT updating your grazing chart. (1)

OR

  • Click on 'Save Plan and Commit to Chart' button to save the plan and update your grazing chart. (2)

Please click on the save button twice to ensure that your plan saves successfully. If your plan has saved successfully the grazing plan page will completely reload.
