Editing Recovery Days in a Committed Growing Season Graze Plan
How to lengthen or shorten your recovery days in a committed growing season graze plan.
As you are adapting to your grazing conditions you can adjust the recovery days in the committed grazing plan to match your conditions.
Step 1: Navigate to Graze Planning
-
Click on ‘Planning Tab’
-
Click on ‘Graze Plans’
Step 2: Select and Edit Graze Plan
-
Click on the ‘Name’ of graze plan that needs to be edited.
-
Scroll down to the page. You will now see a list of Future grazes at the top and Past Grazes below them. Ensure that your past grazes have the 'Days In Paddock Override' filled out.
-
Scroll back to the top of the page and adjust your 'recovery days'. By having the 'Days In Paddock Override' filled out, your past grazes are 'pinned' and grazes will remain in place, even after you have changed the recovery days.
-
Next, adjust your recovery days by extending them out or reducing and click out of the cell.
-
For the Future Grazes Adjust your ‘Days In Paddock Override’ so that they are at a convenient time of day to move your livestock.
-
Scroll down and see the changes made in the plan.
- When satisfied with your plan Select ‘Save Plan and Commit to Chart’
