How to Delete a Livestock Purchase

Purchases can be deleted. It is necessary to check mob/herd history before deleting a purchase.

Deleting a purchase is a 3 step process:

• Step 1 - Check for and delete any graze history.

• Step 2 - Check for and delete any mob/herd flow history.

• Step 3 - Delete the purchase.

Step 1: Check for and delete any graze history.

• Click on 'Operations' (1.)

• Click on 'Event Log' (2.)

• Enter the approximate dates of the purchase to be deleted. (a.)

• Click on the drop down box under 'Event Type'. (b.)

• Click on 'Livestock Purchase'.

• Scroll down the event log list until you find the purchase event to be deleted.

• Click on the name of the mob in the 'Subject' column (d.)

• Wait for the mob management screen to open.

 

• Click on 'Grazes' (3)

• Click on 'Graze History Report' (4)

Any grazes for this mob/herd will be listed.

• Click onto the entry date for the move (5)

• Wait for the move screen to open.

• Click on 'Delete Mob/herd Move' (6)

• Click on 'Proceed' when the warning box opens

• Repeat for all grazes for this mob/herd.

Step 2: Check the Mobflow for your mob

• Click on 'Mobflow' from the mob/herd management screen

OR

• Click on 'Analytics'

• Click on 'Livestock Analytics'

• Use the filters at the top to select the appropriate Mob/Herd.

• Use the drop down box to the oldest available date.

• Check that the purchase event is the ONLY event listed for this mob

If there are transaction events listed in this screen other than the purchase event please contact the Support Team to discuss the best way to remove these events.

Step 3: To delete the purchase and the mob/herd from your MaiaGrazing records.

• Click on the event name from your mobflow

• Click on 'Delete Purchase' (7)
