Merging mobs/herds together
This is for when all of the animals from one mob/herd are put into the same paddock/pasture as another mob/herd.
The Merge function is used to join two or more mobs/herds together.
Common reasons for merging mobs/herds are:

Joining sires and dams at the start of mating,

boxing lambing mobs together after lambing.
Find the mob/herd to be merged INTO another mob.

Click on 'Operations'

Click on 'Livestock'

Hover over the 3 dots
to the right of the mobs/herds that you wish to merge. -
Click on the 'Merge' icon.
Enter the details of the merge

Click into the date box underneath 'Date of Merge' (a)

Enter the date of the merge.

Click on the drop down box '+ add another mob/herd' (b) if you are intending to merging multiple mobs/herds together.
DO NOT SELECT THE RECEIVING MOB/HERD HERE. This will be selected at the next step.

Click on the drop down box underneath 'Mob To Merge Into'

Select the name of the mob from the list that you want the previous mobs to be merged INTO. Or you can choose to create a new mob/herd with the merged stock.
Checking the details of the merge and saving the mob/herd

Read the details of the newly merged mob/herd

Click on either 'Save and go to Move Mob' or 'Save Merged Mob'
'Save and go to Move Mob' - Clicking on this will take you to the move screen where you will be able to enter a move for the newly merged mob/herd on the same date as the merge event.
'Save Merged Mob' - Clicking on this will save the merged mob/herd and this mob/herd will remain in the current paddock/pasture.
