Mob/Herd Move through Menu on Mobile Phone App

This article explains how to move a mob/herd using the mobile phone app main menu and entering a pasture observation.


Open the MaiaGrazing Plus App on your phone.

  • Tap on ‘Create Move’ under Livestock on the Dashboard screen
  • Select date, time and who is entering the move
  • Tap ‘click to select a mob’ and select the mob you want to move
  • Tap ‘Done’
You have the option to enter an estimate of how much residual is left in the paddock you are moving from.Phone previews for Help docs (1000 × 1200px) (1)

 

  • Scroll to bottom of page and tap ‘Click to select paddock’ and choose the paddock you are moving the mob/herd into. (You can select multiple paddocks if required).

  • Tap on Done

You then have the option to enter a feed estimate of how much feed is in the paddocks you have just moved into.

  • Tap on ‘Done’

 

Once the app is synced this data will be the most recent paddock/pasture observation in you pasture inventory on the desktop, and is also available to view by clicking on the paddock in the map section of the map.
