Calculate the dosage details (how much they going to eat per feed event)

MaiaGrazing does not have the capability to multiply a daily consumption amount by an event that spans several days or weeks.

If you intend to enter a feed event into MaiaGrazing everyday the stock feed product will need to be setup using the daily consumption rate per head.

If a feed event is to be ongoing for several weeks it may be better to create your product using the weekly consumption rate per head. This will only require one feed event per week to be entered into MaiaGrazing.

For example: if feeding out a dry loose supplement that has a recommended consumption rate of 30 grams per head per day then, by multiplying 30 grams per head per day by 7 days in a week, we will get a “dosage” per head of 210 grams per head per week. This feed entry will only need to be entered into MaiaGrazing once per week.
